Jenny Riley and Associates (JRA) was established in 1991 and provides wide-ranging executive recruitment services including:
- Identify and place non-executive directors (NXD or NED)
- Executive search and selection
- Interim management appointments
JRA has extensive experience dealing with appointments at all levels of seniority throughout many industry sectors, but especially those embracing information technology and management consultancy.
Non-Executive Directors (NXD)
Following Derek Higgs' 2003 review of corporate governance (which examined specifically the role and responsibilities of non-executive directors), JRA has created a register of people with the skills, experience and desire to take on non-executive roles in the private and public sectors. The Register now comprises brief CVs of numerous highly qualified individuals with knowldge of a wide range of industries. It is available to organisations seeking non-executive directors or wishing to make similar appointments.
We also undertake retained searches for companies needed to replace Board members or enhance Boards of Directors.
Executive Appointments
With regard to executive appointments, in recent years search and advertising assignments have been undertaken successfully for many ‘Blue Chip’ firms such as Body Shop, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Hewlett Packard, IBM, McKinsey & Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sharp and Unilever. Such appointments have included partners, directory and general managers as well as technical specialists.
Other Human Resources services include:
- Candidate interviewing/vetting
- Outplacement
- Salary surveys
- Career counselling
Recently we have launched a separate subsidiary company, UK Care Services, to provide staff (particularly from the newer EU countries such as Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland) for residential care and nursing homes: for further information please visit www.ukcareservices.com.
